Mosquito repellent eucalyptus and rosemary essential oil finishes for cotton fabric

The present paper furnishes the mosquito repellency of microencapsulated textile finishes developed using two essential oils- eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) and rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) for cotton fabric. were prepared taking 10 percent concentration each oil as effect application at this on physical properties fabric was less in permissible limits. applied through pad-dry-cure method. selected such GSM, thickness, tensile strength, bending length wash fastness studied. results showed that thickness slightly increased after finishes, whereas strength somewhat decreased.
